Does the academy accommodate absolute beginners?
YES! The academy is specifically geared to instruct all women at all skill levels. More experienced women golfers will move faster through the Levels. Appropriately so, newer women golfers will take longer to move through the Levels.

What Level should I start in if I have played golf for a while?
All students, regardless of ability or experience must start in Level I and take the Challenges in order to pass through the requirements for each Level.

I am having trouble signing up for classes, what should I do?
First you should exit from site and then log in again. Now click on WGA class registration, then click on REGULAR CLASS and PACKAGE SELECTION, this should take you to the menu of available classes, good luck!

What happens if I have to cancel a class?
To cancel a class that you have signed up for: (1)log in (2)click on view my classes (3)select the class(es) you want to cancel (4)click on "cancel registration for selected classes" Then to sign up for another class, follow the usual procedure of signing up for class. IF YOU FAIL TO NOTIFY SALLY PRIOR TO THE START OF THE CLASS, THEN YOU FORFEIT THE CLASS.

How do I get to the next Level?
To get to the next Level, all items on your progress chart must be checked off. To view your progress chart, login to MyWGA homepage and click on View My Progress. Email Sally@GolfAcademyVC.com with questions and concerns about how to better pass to the next Level. Sometimes a private lesson will be the boost you need to speed up your progress.

Can I just show up for a class?
NO!! You will always need to register for classes by clicking on Schedule icon and then the Class Sign Up link. Class registration shuts down one hour prior to the actual class.

If a class is closed when I try to sign up for it, can I still attend?
No. That means the class is full with 8 students already registered. Please do not just show up as 8 is the maximum amount of students allowed in each class.

Do I need my own clubs/equipment to take classes?
No. Clubs will be provided, but we recommend purchasing clubs after completing your first new student special package of classes. If finances make it difficult to purchase your own clubs, then please contact seanpaul@GolfAcademyVC.com to confidentially discuss your situation, and we will work something out.

What should I wear to Academy Classes & Events?
Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The dress code of Los Robles Greens GC prefers a collared shirt & no denim. Sneakers or golf shoes are best for footwear.

When I print the schedule or any page on the website, the right side gets cut off, what can I do about this?
To print any page on the website, set the page orientation to "Landscape" under the print options on your computer.

What are Play Days?
Play Days are geared for the beginner golfer who is timid about getting out on the golf course. Play Days last for 6-9 holes and are in a non threatening scramble format with Sean Paul guiding your group for two of the six holes. The Ladies on the Links League occurs each summer from April - September on Monday nights at 4:30 or 5pm depending on daylight savings.

Do I have to commit to taking classes every week?
No! You can space your classes out, and you can select whatever dates and times work best for your schedule. You never lose any ground if you take a break from the Academy, and can start right up where you left off.

What happens if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, please check your email. If you did not receive email notification of cancellation, then call the golf course to make sure classes are going to be held. We will try to give at least 3 hours notice of cancellation. Your missed class will be credited for future use.

Where do the classes meet?
All classes gather at the bench near the putting green. From there, we head out to either the putting green or the top of the driving range where full shot classes are held.
