In our fun and innovative girls-only program, our mission is to help girls age 10 to 16 that want to play golf develop their skills and confidence so they will be able to play on their High School Golf Team or pursue competitive golf. Our program focuses on making golf girl-friendly and enjoyable. Classes and events include golf and life skill development, rules and etiquette, and lots of on-course instruction and playing opportunities. All classes held at Rustic Canyon GC in Moorpark.
Criteria to Participate:

Must be in at least the 5th grade.

Prior golf experience is not mandatory, except for participation in On-Course programs at Rustic Canyon
Dan Martin's Advanced Player Academy at Rustic Canyon Golf Course (DM APA)

To be succesful in competitive golf and to reach your full potential, you need the right blend of private & group instruction/coaching, social & competitive peer group interaction, AND complete facility access. The DM APA includes unlimited Girls Only & APP Programs, Private Golf Instruction, Unlimited Range Balls, $10 golf after 12pm any day of the week (standby only), extra discounts on Competitive Player Camps, and much more!
The DM APA can be purchased on a monthly, 3 month, and 6 month basis. Rates vary depending on season. See Program Packages section on website for pricing and options. Sibling discounts are available.
Girls’ Golf Programs & Classes:
Girls-Only Golf Clinics (Year Round on Saturdays at 11am)
These girl friendly classes feature unique lesson plans with engaging and challenging activities that give the participants meaningful and helpful learning experiences. Each class is designed and coached to be empowering for girls, especially in areas of developing confidence and good decision making. Participants develop solid golf fundamentals in all parts of the game, as well as learn how to focus and self coach. Each class also helps participants develop strategies and skills for setting and achieving their goals and features learning golf rules and how to use the USGA Rule Book. Classes are coached by Dan Martin, PGA - a 2010 & 2011 US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teacher and/or GAVC Staff.
Girls-Only On-Course Player Development (March - October Wednesdays at 4:30pm)
Player Development events begin with a 30 minute clinic geared to improving performance, enjoyment and confidence on the golf course. Participants will be given a specific "playing focus" to work on while playing between 6 to 9 holes in fun and innovative formats. A GAVC coach will roam the golf course and help girls’ with decision making, rules & etiquette, and self-management. Newer players will play from forward “fairway” tees to make playing the course more manageable and enjoyable. More experienced players will play from the Red tees. Classes are coached by Dan Martin, PGA - a 2010 & 2011 US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teacher and Staff.
