GAVC Private Coaching Philosophy
At many points in time during the development of a junior golfer, private coaching is very beneficial.  It is our belief that each one of our participants are unique individuals and will have special coaching needs specific to their skill set and personality.  Private coaching, however, should never be done in place of group programing, but should be done as a compliment to group programs & tournaments.  Full development of a golfer requires the essential learning that happens though social interaction of one's peer group.  Golf is played in a group setting and has essential skills that can only be developed in a social environment.  Ideally, a junior that takes private coaching will be playing on the course weekly, participating in a group program and even competing on a regular basis.

All GAVC coaches offer Private Golf Coaching and Instruction for Juniors that want to take their game to the next level.  All of our coaches structure their private coaching & pricing differently.  Here is a list of our coaches, their rates & packages, and contact information.

Dan specializes in working with juniors ages 9 to 17 that are interested in competitive golf.  Dan is a "total-game" coach, meaning that he seamlessly blends technique devlopment with essetial playing skills (mental, social , & emotional game).  Dan does not believe in "the one size fits all" swing approach, but rather that each person has their own BEST swing and he helps you develop it, repeat it, and trust it under pressure.  Dan believes everyone's BEST swing is based on very simple, instinctual, and natural movement patterns and they are easy to learn.  Dan also believes that golf must be coached & practiced on the golf course, not just the driving range.  He offers many differnt playing and on course coaching opportunities for his students.  If you want to actually PLAY and PERFORM better, especially in tournaments, Dan is perfect for you.  Dan has been a junior golf specialist for the better part of his career and has several students that have gone on to play and win at the Division 1, 2, and 3 collegiate golf level.

$100 per hour lesson
On Course Lesson (1.5 hours) $150
Six month package – includes a Monthly 1 hour lesson & Quarterly on course lessons - $800 (6 1hr. lessons & 2 1.5hr On Course Lessons)
One year package - includes a Monthly 1 hour lesson & Quarterly on course lessons - $1500 (12 1hr. lessons & 4 1.5hr On Course Lessons)
All Lessons come with a written practice plan sent via email within 48 hours of lesson completion.
